Spokane Weekend Wine Events October 29-31

As harvest wraps up for many wineries the ghosts and goblins emerge from their hiding places. There are no tricks, only a liquid treat awaits you behind the doors of the Spokane Wineries. As Matt from Rocket Market says, “big kids need treats too,” and we couldn’t agree more. Take a look at the long list of events and don’t miss the “Wine Radar” for some fantastic liquid libations!

Friday, October 29

Whitestone Winery – Michael Haig takes his pumpkin carving talents PRO! Stop by for a special pumpkin carving, treats from Taste Café, and music from Kari Knudson. Happy Halloween! Enjoy the day and be safe. I hear this year will be extra spooky!

Get out to a winery! – Always a handful of Spokane wineries open. Enjoy! Trezzi, Townshend, Lone Canary, Mountain Dome, Latah Creek, Arbor Crest, Knipprath and Caterina are open.

  • First Friday Art Walk (November 5) – Enjoy an evening of drawings, paintings, prints, sculpture, ceramics, photography and other visual art. Take in diverse live performances, including music, dance and theatre and don’t forget the exceptional shopping and dining Downtown has to offer.
  • First Friday Spokane Valley Art Tour (November 5) – Valley wineries and art galleries team up for the first ever art tour in the Spokane Valley. The event is called  First Friday Spokane Valley Art Tour, to begin November 5, 2010, 5:30-8:30pm
  • Nectar Tasting Room Sneak Sip at Sante Restaurant (November 5) – Owner / Chef Jeremy Hansen has prepared a wonderful five course dinner paired with five wines featured in the new Nectar Tasting Room; $55

  • Get a Bad Attitude at Nodland Cellars (November 12) – BAD ATTITUDE RELEASE PARTY! The newest wine from the Rock and Roll series, BAD ATTITUDE red wine $20 retail, will be released at an event to be held from 6-9pm. Special release party, wine, food and song.
