Spokane Weekend Wine Events October 15-17

For eight months this weekly Spokane wine post has been housed on www.drinknectar.com. Because of the slight change in direction with the opening of Nectar Tasting Room in November (fingers crossed), we created Spokane Wine Magazine as a print and online resource for all things related to wine in Spokane. The first print issue goes to printer in just 2 weeks! We’ll still talk about Spokane wine and events at the new Nectar Wine Blog, but you should bookmark www.spokanewinemagazine.com as well.

Tom Sherry, Kris Croker and, Bill Kelly are all calling for beautiful fall weather this weekend. It is a perfect weekend to head up to Green Bluff and pick apples and scope out the pumpkins for Halloween. While you are there, stop by the Townshend Cellar and Trezzi Farm tasting rooms for some Spokane made wine as well. Here is what we at Spokane Wine Magazine suggest:

  • Brunch at Taste Café and Gourmet to Go
  • Apple Picking at Green Bluff
  • Afternoon snack and wine tasting at Townshend Cellar
  • Wine tasting at Trezzi Farm
  • Take some fantastic Trezzi Lasagna home for dinner

Enjoy the whole weekend with wine from your friends at Spokane Wine Magazine and Nectar Tasting Room!
